THAT WHITE GIRL: FEATURE FILM

Race and class tension erupt in this teenage love story between a white girl and a member of the infamous African-American street gang, the Crips. When she becomes an accessory to murder, she is ultimately forced to decide who she is and the woman she wants to become. Inspired by a true story.


WHITE IN AMERICA: FEATURE FILM

White in America is a feature-length 90-minute documentary film that will explore a rarely discussed taboo subject: white privilege in America. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Byron Hurt and told through the lens of author/activist JLove Calderon, White in America will take the viewer on an uncompromising journey to examine the history of white privilege and reveal its impact and legacy on people of all racial and cultural backgrounds.

GREEN MAMA: TELEVISION PROGRAM

Green Mama is a Docu-Reality series exploring the new force of moms starting green business across America, and highlights multi-racial personal narratives about creative and courageous mothers defying expectations and societal norms by inventing new ways of making a living, living their passion, and saving the planet.


THE SCHOOL ANTHEM PROJECT: TELEVISION PROGRAM

Star hosts Asia One and “Sweepy” go on a mission to high school across the country to save our youth using music as a tool to inspire, educate and regain pride in an education system that is failing our kids. From the hood to the riches of Beverly Hills, this passionate duo reveals the visions, dreams, fears and barriers of the youth of today. Witness how some kids have to hustle just to eat, while others are dealing with complex issues of racial tension, budding sexuality, bullying and other coming of age dramas. Asia and “Sweepy” find themselves acting more like life counselors to these young dreamers. Using the universal tool of a microphone to voice unheard expression, witness these motley kids’ road to self-discovery, leadership and school pride.
